His nasty little swipes at anyone in his crease, his taunting of the visitors on wrap arounds, bouncing on his skates and showing off his dimples by lifting his visor were all part of the festivities on Saturday night as #31 stole the show and won WOTW honours.

Personally I thought he should have had the first two goals and the video evidence shows he got a piece of the first. But aside from those two, the young net minder put on a show (I think I said that already). Officially 37 shots hit the net and a good dozen more missed. We had two extended 2 men short powerplay kills with Jesse freezing every shot that came his way - which makes life easy for everyone.

Since his loss to the Yanks in the Waterloo tourney (where I thought he played his best until Saturday) he has been 4-0. But WOTW is for the week only and he did all the little things like; talk to the D, freeze the puck, control rebounds and stop the puck (that one is worth repeating). Adding in the"house cleaning" from in front of the net and flashing some leather helps too.

As for the locker room behaviour - we ain't goin there 'cause we have no idea what goes on and as parents not sure we want to! Congrats Jesse on winning the WOTW...maybe you should have perogies before games more often? ...yeah, yeah and invite Coach Fred!
