#19 Brandon
With a league leading GAA you know that there are some quality players between the pipes, but they are only half of the equation. It takes some smart 'D' to keep the 'targets' statistics low, and this week's winner is a key player on the blueline.

Brandon started out up front, takes a holiday and then was thrown back on defense. His transition has been amazing. His ability to change from offensive minded to defensive has been seemless. The big advantage he brings back to the defensive corp is his passing skills. Not only does he hit the tape, he hits it at the right time.

And while our bigger opponents often mistake him for a little guy, his big hits have introduced himself as one to respect. And its not always the big hits that are effective, Brandon has a very active stick that has thwarted many offensive attacks.

With the play-offs starting this week, we need more players to pick up their game like Brandon and focus on the doing all the little things right. Congrats Brandon, your hardwork has paid off and now we ( not just the goalie dads...lol) expect even more during the 'third' season!
